Fall '09 Review

=

Since I have been so negligent, I thought I would do a bullet point review of our busy fall...

For Brad
  • Continued work at KU
  • Kept leading the College/Career ministry at LLF
  • Preached a couple of times on Sunday
  • Led our family on our first "alone" vacation without extended family to Branson & was a great sport-he didn't even give me too much trouble when I forgot Ethan's luggage completely & we had to make an 11pm WalMart run to buy new clothes.
  • Still an awesome Dad who does Fun Saturdays, bedtime & is improving at Video Games all the time
  • Drove our family through fog, hail & rain for a great Christmas in PB, MO
  • Started leading the Trek class (Jr. High) at AWANA, and really look forward to it each week (Lauri also looks forward to it, so she can act outrageous & shock the kids)
For Lauri
  • Continued to be very involved at Veritas Christian school-leading Moms in Touch prayer group now, and still organizing the Clubs program once a month
  • Attended my 20th class reunion & had a great time
  • Expanded my business-adding more students-I am now up to 10! Yea God!!
  • Enjoyed all travel and remained relatively healthy Yea God again!
  • Volunteering each week at LLF with my new friend Vi
  • So blessed by friends at church, at Veritas & in the community
For Ethan

  • Had a great 8th Birthday party at the gymnastics academy
  • Sam & Jack came to visit in August for the first time in almost 4 years-which was an awesome way to end our summer!!
  • Took swimming lessons and continues to make great progress
  • Has been doing AWESOME in 2nd Grade
  • Had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Karson-even saw him 2 days in a row to celebrate
  • Had an amazing Christmas with Sam & Jack
  • Becoming quite adept at video games and now has a new DS to practice on
  • Is a blessing to his parents every day-and growing in the Lord so quickly!!
  • LOVED Branson and can't wait to go back
Photos were taken from Left: Deanna Rose Farm (Olathe, KS -in August); The two photos of the criminals were taken at Silver Dollar City in September, and the family photo was taken the day after Thanksgiving in downtown Lawrence when Santa arrives in our town-one of our family traditions that Karson got to share with us this year :)
